Received a call from a friend and was told that a blogger was 'stealing' my photos and even my write-up and pasted them on her own blog. So far, I have found out that she has extracted the contents of the following articles :
Barbeque Steamboat Dinner at Seoul Garden, Penang
Swensen's - Queensbay Mall
Penang Hawker Food - Min Jiang Ayer Itam
Penang Hawker Food - Roast Duck/Pei Par Arp
It is a shame this has happened because blogging is to express one's personal experience and the writing should be from your own ideas. Seeing my stuff being 'copy and paste' without proper acknowledgement is pure frustration. Now I start to print my name on my photos.
I hope everyone should respect other people's works!!!!
Is there any ways to protect the contents in the blog from being stolen by others? Any suggestions are most welcome.

hey sorry to hear about your photos and contents getting 'stolen'! this is what every blogger despises! we take the effort to take photos and pour our hearts into our articles... having them cut and paste without any recognition is just unethical and wrong!
one of the ways to protect our photos would be placing a watermark on them, but i heard that they need to be across the photo to be effective cos if the watermark is placed at a corner, ppl can just crop it off.
i suppose when we put up photos on the internet we need to be prepared that ppl will steal them. so another way is to make your photos low res so that ppl cant use them for print.
thank you very much for your advice...
Hi, thanks for telling me that my blogs are stolen as well. How shameful she is. She is not only steal my photos, but also my writings.
hi all... dun need to angry on content being stolen....
we must be happy with it... why... no one will copy rubbish.... it means the thing that we write mean something...
my one always being duplicated.. wat 2 do..... take it as what it is....
and be happy always.... relax...
I stepped by your blog and found it super nice.
My suggestion is buy a web hosting with a control panel name cPanel. There is a function called Hotlink which can help you protect your images to be linked by others ppl blog.
Some explanation:
Hotlinking is when another web site owner links directly to one or more of your images or multimedia files and includes it on their web page. Not only is this theft of your intellectual property, you are paying for the bandwidth used by that site.
CPanel can prevent hotlinking by only allowing named sites (such as your own web site) to access files on your site.
Suggested web hosting company : Exabytes Network, the top hosting company at Malaysia.
