Updates as at September 2008 :
This stall has already shifted to New Lane Cafe on New Lane off Macalister Road. Located diagonally across Sunway Hotel, it closes on Monday. On Friday night, you will find them selling in the pasar malam in Jalan Van Praagh off Jalan Perak. Business hour is from 7pm to 11pm.
We came to know about a hawker stall in Jalan Perak that sells gultinuous rice ball (tang yuen). It was not difficult finding the stall as it is located along the busy main road.
The tang yuen were freshly roll and form on the spot, then cooked and served in many varieties of tong sui. They have the soya bean milk, ginger and red bean tong shui.
Hubby had the red bean soup that comes with two big tang yuen, two small ones and a piece of ginkgo nut. The big green one has black sesame seed filling, the big white one with peanut filling whereas the smaller ones does not have any.
My bowl of soya bean milk is very thick and creamy. It comes with exactly the same ingredients like the one hubby had. The tang yuen is chewy and soft ... it is just like eating marshmallow. This stall based at Aik Hwa Cafe which is directly opposite Jalan Perak market starts selling from 7pm onwards and closes on Monday.

Hi,
Thanks for dropping by my blog.
It was very nice of you for recommending the outlet to me.
Hi.. thanks for dropping by my blog too. Well, this is a nice recommendation too. Although it comes with different varieties of soup, my preference is still something clear and not so filling. The stall I recommended had their secret recipe passed down since the last 60 years. Do try it out if you are around town :)
