During one of our stay in Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur we had the opportunity to dine at their Lai Po Heen chinese restaurant in a private room. This pricey chinese restaurant has an elegant ambience.

Beside the entrance of the restaurant is the open kitchen whereby we can see the chefs preparing the food.

We had a few dishes and I particularly like the black pepper beef tenderloin and their famous crepe durian pancake (durian flesh wrapped inside soft crepes). If you happen to be dining here, do order this pancake. You can't find it as delicious else where. The service provided by the staff was of course excellent (A1) and the food was real tasty... all thanks to my brother for the lovely and delicious dinner.
